1944 was the year that Carlo\u00a0Antonio Crippa created a\u00a0\u201cworkshop\u201d that was destined to\u00a0become a protagonist in the sector\u00a0of interior lighting.<\/p>\n

This is due to his ability to\u00a0surround himself with the most\u00a0prominent designers, beginning\u00a0with Oscar Torlasco, the first one\u00a0of many famous names that would\u00a0contribute in making the LUMI\u00a0collections unique throughout the\u00a0years.
\nToday the company , even if it\u00a0is administered with strict\u00a0managerial criteria, is still a\u00a0workshop where materials are\u00a0shaped according to the artist\u2019s\u00a0imagination. Crafting by hand,\u00a0even by using modern technology,\u00a0is still the only way that is able to\u00a0enhance the value of the materials\u00a0whether they are Swarovski and\u00a0Asfour crystals, elegant fabrics or\u00a0parchments, satin or shiny finished\u00a0steel or brass surfaces or manual\u00a0artistic inlay work that complete\u00a0each exemplary product.<\/p>\n

These\u00a0features make each and every\u00a0LUMI lamp a jewel and as such, a\u00a0true expression of the concept of\u00a0\u201dbeauty\u201d; the demonstration that\u00a0art is not created by chance, but it\u00a0is the synthesis of patience and\u00a0ingenuity.<\/p>\n

For this purpose, many\u00a0creations have been numbered by\u00a0Swarovski among the most\u00a0important ones in our age.
\nLUMI has been included in the\u00a0important catalogue, \u201cThe\u00a0Companies of Italian Design:\u00a01950-2000\u201d by Giuliana\u00a0Gramigna, meaning that it is\u00a0among the 127 famous names\u00a0that represent our \u201cmade in Italy\u201d\u00a0style and taste.<\/p>\n
